How quickly can I get an appointment for a pregnancy test?

Are pregnancy tests free?

Yes, we offer free pregnancy tests.  All of our services are free.

 

Do I need an appointment for a pregnancy test or to talk with someone or can I just walk in?

We welcome your visit without an appointment.  We will assist you as soon as we are able.

 

Which are more effective: Home pregnancy tests? or Women’s Care Center tests?

Women’s Care Center uses the same tests used in most doctor offices.  Our tests are far more reliable than home tests.  Plus you may get results sooner in your pregnancy.

 

Can I bring someone with me for my appointment?

We want you to feel comfortable.  Please bring along anyone you wish to your appointment – your boyfriend, relatives or friends.

 

What services do you offer in addition to pregnancy testing?

Ultrasounds are offered to confirm that your pregnancy is viable and to verify your due date.  We also offer one-on-one counseling, community referrals, parenting classes and material assistance to pregnant women and young mothers.  All services are provided free of charge.

 

Does Women’s Care Center provide prenatal medical care?

Prenatal medical care is offered at our sites in Elkhart and South Bend.  At all other centers, we can provide referrals to qualified prenatal care providers.
