“How do I know if I am pregnant?” Early signs of pregnancy can include fatigue, nausea & vomiting, sensitivity to odors, tender breasts, missed period, an unusual or abnormal period, and frequent urination. If you think you might be pregnant, it is important to verify the pregnancy with a medical grade pregnancy test. Trained counselors are available at all Women’s Care Centers to perform your test and help you weigh all of your options. All information is kept confidential. During the last year, 18,828 women made 76,360 visits to our centers for services. Pregnancy Testing If you think you might be pregnant, the first step is to call for a pregnancy test. We can schedule a pregnancy test for you right away, so you’ll know for sure whether or not you are pregnant. Our tests are free and accurate. You’ll get your test results in just minutes. Pregnancy Verification If you test positive for pregnancy, we will provide you with a “proof of pregnancy” needed to receive medical care and other social services. Ultrasounds If you test positive for pregnancy, we recommend receiving a free ultrasound at our center. A positive pregnancy test doesn’t necessarily mean you are having a baby. An ultrasound will help determine if your pregnancy is viable, and if so, how far along you are. Counseling Our social workers and counselors are available to work with any pregnant woman to help create a personalized pregnancy plan. Supportive counseling is also available throughout your pregnancy. 24-hour hotline A counselor is available 24 hours to address your concerns and answer your questions.
