ABOUT
US — HISTORY
Founded in 1984, the Women’s Care Center
has grown to become the largest provider of early pregnancy services
in northern Indiana serving nearly 10,000 women annually.
We operate 14 neighborhood centers located in
South Bend, Mishawaka, Fort Wayne, Michigan City, Nappannee, Elkhart, Niles, LaPorte, Plymouth
and Bremen. One in four babies in St. Joseph
and Marshall Counties is born to a woman who is a client of the
Women’s Care Center. Our mission is to help young women
facing unexpected pregnancies.
Women’s Care Center is a non-profit service
agency managed by a volunteer Board
of Directors made up of community leaders. We rely entirely
on the generosity of individuals, businesses, congregations and
foundations.

Many individuals and groups volunteer their
time and donate items such as cribs, baby clothing and diapers.
